Newbies Guide
Hi, my name is Moldy. PBTerm is a great and fun way to meet new people around the world and to have a GREAT time doing it. In this guide i will show you through the basics or PBTerm...well hold on tight, cause here we goooooo.
1st off, if you made a new character, you must register. Registering has 2 advantages to it. #1, is that you get 2,500$ and #2, is you will have more weight for your character to carry.
To register: When you log onto paintball it will always receive the paintball login box. The first time you log in the boxes for "Character name, password and User name" will be blank. Fill this with information you wish to use and then hit connect. If the username is already taken or you have not used a valid password and/or username(Passwords and usernames must use only alphabetic, numeric,and space characters and passwords have 4 or more characters) then it will log you out of paintball and you must try again. Once you have filled in the information correctly and the username you have choosen is not already used, a box asking for your email address will pop up. Enter you valid email address and press "OK". In a very short time you should receive a code in your email. Follow the instructions from the email to enter your code.Buying an Item
Buying an item is a bit tricky. In order to buy one, you must have at least 1 open or free hand. To check to see what your guy is holding, type <stat> in the chatbar. Once you make sure you have nothing in your hands, go to the middle store. Once you are in the store you will need to bring up the list of items that is in that staore. To do this, you simply hold "Ctrl + Y". Now the item you are looking for is "A large-padded backpack". Highlight that item and click on the "BUY" button. Congratzs you just bought your first item. Now type <wear backpack> to wear it. If you would like you can type <stat> to make sure you are wearing it on your left shoulder. The backpack is used for storing items and padding your shoulders. Now go to the upper left store, AKA the Gun Shop. Type <sell gun>. The reason you sold your gun is so that you can buy a new and better one. Once this is sold, type <sell vest>. Now once those items are sold, Go back to the middle store. and with the steps allready covered, buy a padded scarf.Assembling Kits to Equipment
Once the scarf is bought, go to the upper right store. AKA "the Chop Shop". Buy a "Grassland Camoflauge Kit" and what you want to do, is to assemble the kit to your scarf, and to do this you type <Assemble kit scarf>. Now you have built grassland camo into your scarf. Now also buy a woodland camo kit and do the same thing. After the kits are put on the scarf. Wear it by typing <wear scarf>A good idea for new players is to become as padded as they can possibly get. This is because certain paintballs will bounce off of you in the padded areas. So go to the bottom store and buy a helmet. Now wear the helmet. You will also want to buy padded leggings and padded boots. Do this by using the same steps as before.
Allrighty, after you have gotton all that and have worn it, type stat. it should look like this...
a padded helmet on your HEADa padded scarf[woodland][grassland] on your NECK, BODY
a large backpack on your RIGHT SHOULDER, LEFT SHOULDER
a pair of padded leggings on your LEGS, FEET
Depending on your money, you will want to either buy a spray paint can or a gun. That is totally up to you.
Buying a Level Up
You can play as long as you like as a Level 2 (level 2 is the free level) but most serious players like to buy a level up.In order to buy a level up you must send in $10.00 US to David R. Michael. There are many ways you can upgrade your level. Credit card, check, or money orders are the best way to do this. In the main menu of PbTerm press "Help/Pbterm help/Upgrading your paintball level" to find more instructions on upgrading. It is not wise to send cash thru the mail to anyone and paintball is no exception.
After about 1 week of waiting, your Level up should be to RM for processing.

You do not have to send all the money in at one time. For example: If you wish to be a level 15, you can send in 10 dollars this month and 10 dollars next month. So basically, for every 10 dollars you send in you will be upgraded 1 level.
79+ are admin levels and they can not be bought.
